The color is light straw, and the aromas are clean with dominant notes of honeysuckle and Golden Delicious apple. Hints of spice comes through on the nose. On the palate, the wine is elegant with clean, refreshing flavors of citrus, melon, and peach. the finish is creamy in the mouth, with and integrated oak.

The rustic edge of heirloom apples mingle with zesty traits of lime and spruce from the addition of Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin hops. This cider also spends nearly half a year aging in oak and truly sets itself apart from other hopped up apple concoctions given that it actually holds a bitterness- one that works well with the natural tannic nature of the cider.

Fizzy and fun, this pear cider was envisioned to mimic the semi-sweet citrus delight known as Vinho Vearde. Effervescent and wonderfully inviting, this cider was actually fermented at cold temperatures (lagered) to showcase honeyed aromas and clean flavors of ripe stone fruit. Herradura Reposado ages in the barrels for eleven months, far longer than the two months which is required by law for this category. This gives the tequila its deep copper color. The Reposado category was created by Tequila Herradura in 1974.

Overall quite clean & pleasant with buttery agave, cream soda, lime rind & possibly some lingering mint. Some alcohol heat, but not overbearing. Primary notes of cooked agave, something similar to butterscotch, subtle mint, cinnamon-type spice & raw vegetal earthiness. Sweetness & spice levels build with time on the tongue.

The reposado is mellow and soft on the palate, offering a much lighter and less rich flavor profile than some of Enrique's woodier expressions under the Pura Sangre and ArteNOM labels. It's almost too seamless. I can imagine going through half a bottle before realizing I've gone too far!
