Made from one of the first cooperatives in Burgundy (formed in 1929), this wine showcases all the notable aspects of Burgundy: grapes from sustainable and organic vineyards in Côte Chalonnaise, vinified and aged in neutral vessels, and a generous showcase of flavors such as black and red currant, cherry, and a little bit of spice that's accentuated with silky tannins.

Gentle crafting and unique Alp-driven terroir put the qualities of this whole-cluster Mondeuse at center stage: elegant violet with red fruit on the nose, while black cherry, smooth tannins, pepper and layered minerals amp up the medium-bodied palate. This elixir is sure to leave you with a lovely alpenglow.

An exotic style with its darker fruits as well as notes of camphor, balsam wood, plums and ground pepper. It has tons of minerality on the palate and is full-bodied, concentrated, and powerful, with enough tannins to warrant a solid 5-7 years of bottle age. It’s a beautiful, classic, impeccably made Cornas that will have two decades of longevity.

A fresh pinot with dark-earth, white pepper, and strawberry character. Medium-bodied, tannic, intense with cloves. Juicy and flavorful. Blackberries and dried strawberry stems.

The Vermentino grape is grown all over the island of Sardinia, but in the DOCG of Gallura on the northern shores the salty sea air whips the vines and their roots descend deep through massive granite slabs to reach water. The result is a white wine with an intense brightness and minerality, with notes of golden pear and lemon zest and hints of salinity.

Iron, lifted florals, deep umami, salinity: this is the Piemontese ur-text emerging from the handwriting of grape variety, and it's breathtaking to behold in a wine we're perhaps not used to aging as long as we do our Nebbioli. '04 was an outstanding vintage in Piemonte, producing wines of precision, concentration, and equilibrium that have aged gorgeously—a total gem!

After fermentation it is aged for 12 months in small oak casks; then bottled without filtration. This cuvée was created by Luigi Anania for the first time in the 2007 vintage and is a reflection of his particular approach to, and understanding of, the historical basis for the terroir of this specific and special zone of Brunello. Shibata Black Junmai Ginjo uses a very rare rice from Hokkaido known as Ginpu, which is clear and has a nice aroma. Given the softness of the water at Shibata, they are able to produce a well rounded sake that leaves you with a mild finish. We’ve decided to package this sake into a flask-style bottle to help introduce craft sake even to sake beginners. Pair with light fare.

Heiwa Shuzou brings us “KID” Junmai, which exhibits a soft mouth feel and offers an acidity that is well balanced with the gentle umami of sake rice. Brewed using the soft and clean spring water of Wakayama Prefecture, “KID” Junmai opens the door for sake beginners.

Featuring a mash bill of non-GMO grains at 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley, it represents a new riff on Kentucky’s most hallowed whiskey traditions. Aged four years in 53-gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, there are no shortcuts taken in our production. Barrel Strength!

The vines for the 1er Cru Les Haut-Jarrons belong to a close friend of Benjamin Leroux. The site location is near the border with Beaune, where some of the best Savigny-les-Beaune wines are. These wines are considered the most complex and long-lived red wines of Savigny. Made in a classic style of Savigny- tense, rich, full of fruit and structured. Lovely indeed.
