50 year old vines grown on a single sloped knoll of the Renaissance Vineyard with exposures sweeping from NE to SW on a metamorphic mix of volcanic rock. Grand Vent Vineyard is located in west Petaluma, 13 miles from the Pacific. Due to its mid-elevation, this site battles some of the densest marine layer the Pacific can offer. Once the sun breaks through the fog, the afternoon coastal winds rip through causing even more of a delay in ripening, ideal for a restraint, herbal and savory style of Pinot Noir. At the southern tip of the Petaluma Gap, 5 miles from the San Pablo Bay. La Cruz is battered by the coastal winds from the bay throughout the growing season. The soil is Diablo Clay and Haire Loam, and this hillside shows a rockier, more fickle appearance compare to the lower blocks of the property. Combined, this yields a mineral, citrus driven profile.

A lovely French Sauvignon Blanc in the style of neighboring Bordeaux with some fleshy old vine Sémillon adding structure. While the Barde family has been inhabiting the estate and working these vines since 1958, the Château dates from the 18th century. Clay-limestone hillsides and high sand-clay plateaus create a balanced white to enjoy with fresh seafood or falafel salad.

Made in the northern reaches of Italy's Valtellina region, this elegant expression of 100% Nebbiolo brings a heroic style to the already effusive grape. This is made as 'Sforzato', an appassimento style (think Amarone) of Nebbiolo. Rich bright red fruit, gorgeous aromatics, and elegant style grant this wine a stunning presence of Nebbiolo made for royalty. Gorgeous!

“Nuit de Java” is a joint project between Nicolas Renaud and fellow Gard-ian Romain Le Bars. Grenache, Carignan, Clairette, and Cinsault go through whole-cluster fermentation for seven days, no
added sulfur. Pure delicate red juice!

Grenache Blanc and Macabeu that spends time in old barrels after pressing. Roussillon levels of ripeness with a finessed, precise acidic edge. A fascinating wine, that reveals more and more with every sip.

Don’t let the whimsical label fool you, this wine is serious business. 100% Carignan with a wild, smoky, and savory edge. It retains its plump Carignan fruit, but definitely begins to verge on the slightly more cerebral side, in all the right ways.

Certainly one of our favorite cuvées, and one that is so inexplicably YoYo. Grenache Noir, Gris, Blanc, and a smattering of Carignan, sourced from three plots of ~100 year old vines. Fresh, fragrant, with layer-upon-layer of nuance waiting to be uncovered.

Hand-harvested; cold maceration is followed by fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel. Aged in stainless until bottling the following summer. Fresh, vivid, and bright on the palate, with notes of exotic fruits and a beautiful minerality. Lovely purity of fruit; a touch of spiciness in the finish and lingering acidity.

This is Chardonnay comes from the Auvergne region of France, right in the middle of the country. Not much wine from this region gets to America, so it brings us much joy to see it here! This wine is perfect with or without food, and everyone from your grandmother to your friend from college that normally drinks white claw will love this.

Zuul has aromas of rose petals, blood orange and papaya and a medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity. Grape varieties were fermented separately, but vinified the same way: macerated on the skins for 60 days before being pressed and aged in a mix of neutral French oak and concrete eggs for ten months. This wine is always easily crushable on its own, but so good with intensely flavored dishes from South East Asia and beyond!
