Jean Fournier is one of the oldest estates in Marsannay and dates back to the 17th century. This Bourgogne Rouge comes from vineyards planted back in the 1960s and spends 12 months in mostly used barrels. It's sophisticated with perfectly ripe cherry and mineral notes backed up by soft, earthy, mushroomy aromas.

Inexpensive Bordeaux that's organic and biodynamic is extremely rare- and this estate has been making wine this way since the 1960s. This shows classic white Bordeaux crisp green apple from Sauvignon Blanc balanced with just a hint of beeswax from Semillon and some floral citrusy lift from Muscadelle.

In the steep-hilled valleys of Liguria running down to the sea are some of the oldest grape vines in the whole country. Some of these gnarled old vines were planted near the end of the 1800's; the youngest vines are over 80 years old. While Gruner Veltliner outside Austria is rare, these sub-Alpine slopes in Northern Italy have been part of Austria at various points in history. Minerally crushed rocks with hints of mint peek out behind tart green apple fruit. The long finish shows a plush and round white peach rarely seen in Gruner. Try with schnitzel in mushroom gravy or with a spicy spring salad!

This is a mouth watering Sauvignon Blanc with great minerality, structure and acidity, displaying aromas of peaches and citrus. Balanced with a finish that is refreshing and long!

Dark berry fruit and a touch of orange zest over a background of subtle herbal spice. Juicy, refreshing red berry nuances, fine-grained tannin.

Beautifully fruit-driven with cherry aroma; the palate is succulent and dense; with layers of mint and blackberries. Pair with mild to slightly spicy dishes.

This blend relies heavily on Jaen (the Portuguese name for Mencia) to give big, juicy, fruit flavors backed up by beautiful floral aromatics. It’s fresh and vibrant, perfect for BBQ food or cheese & charcuterie.

A classic Italian rosato: not overtly fruity, rather it is savory and herbal with a quiet backing of fruit. Briney notes come out on the nose with sage, mint and wild herbs over tart strawberry fruit and orange zest. The palate is fairly full with plenty of acidity and slight tannins with flavors of citrus pith and strawberry fruit. A wine well suited to food pairing.

A cuvee made with grapes from younger vines, showcasing a more fruit-forward and easy drinking style, while still maintaining the mineral undertones for which Jonathan is so well known. the Pouilly Fumé Élisa offers freshness, brightness, minerality, and is energetic and well balanced. flavors of grapefruit, mineral, light smoke, apricot and pear. The finish is refreshing and structural.

The wines of Jean-François Nicq are fully interwoven with the history of natural winemaking in France.
