From natural wine legend Jean-François Nicq. This wine is mainly Carignan from a single parcel on a slightly sandier hillside, with just a dollop of Grenache. Darker and spicier, but still chock full of crunchy fruits and bountiful acidity. Magical.

100% Chardonnay from ~20-year old vines. A mixture of destemmed and whole- cluster that spends a bit of time macerating before a direct press into barrel, where it ages for nine months. Electric and lifted aromatics, with flavors of salty lemon, hops, and a touch of green apple. Not your grandma’s Chardonnay!

One day of skin contact gives this Mediterranean white wine a kiss of richness. It is bottled young so there is a hint of effervescence as well. Think of it as the French answer to Vinho Verde...dry, rich, refreshing, a match for everything from brie to oysters.

Bertjan Mol and Nicole Messer are two Dutch natural wine importers-turned- winemakers in their little swath of Anjou. “AK400” is 100% Gamay from wildly-growing 40-50 year old vines. Partial whole-cluster and aged through the winter in old barrel, this wine is bright, ripe, with an underlying tension that keeps us coming back for more.

Elegant, graceful and fine, the Biondi-Santi 2018 Rosso di Montalcino offers a delicate approach to the senses and it spreads over the palate with polished and silky intensity. The acidity is elevated in this vintage. A handful of historic producers in Montalcino are bringing the Rosso category up to the next level, and the venerable house of Biondi-Santi is one of them.

A more full-bodied style of Gamay coming from the Loire Valley. The fruit was partially destemmed before fermentation so you get the requisite fruit of this grape alongside a nice backbone on the finish. Upon opening, you'll find some residual CO2 that acts as a natural preservative which allows that beauty of not having added sulphur to this wine. A delightful punchy wine!

The Ribbon Ridge bottling of Pinot Noir is Vincent's flagship wine. Coming all from a single, organically-farmed vineyard of marine soil in Ribbon Ridge this Pinot is made in the same non-interventionist way as all the rest of Vincent's wines. Open top fermentation with only native yeast followed by aging in used oak for 10 months. This is an expressive but delicate delight!

Purchased from growers in the region, fruit is whole-bunch pressed to stainless steel tanks for a cool fermentation with indigenous yeast. Once fermentation is complete the wine is racked off lees and matured in tank for 4 months, without malolactic conversion. Pale gold color. Nose of fresh almonds. The wine is surprisingly rich for a vintage known for its cool temperature. Finish with a pleasant acidity.

This beautiful Syrah is dark and inky, it explodes with blackberry fruit that darkens as it nears the finish, leading into tar, smoke and earth. Pair it with meaty, big flavors like lamb. This tiny estate is run by two sisters who took over the family business and have been making fantastic, textbook Northern Rhone Syrah at a fantastic price point.

Intense yellow with greenish reflections. Deep scents of fruits, pear and banana. Our Viognier has a good sense of body and structure with an intense aroma with high notes of exotic fruits.

The Brunate is an absolutely terrific showing from Marco Marengo, which instantly impresses with its beautiful aromatics of blackberries and ripe cherries followed by sweet spices and spring floral. This beautifully polished Barolo is well defined and possesses a gorgeous silky texture with lovely finesse.

Grown on Kimmeridgian limestone, this Sauvignon Blanc is often likened to Sancerre, but with a twist of Chablis, and it does show a chalky, mineral, slightly saline quality. It has the bright grapefruit, mint, gooseberry and kiwi of Sauvignon, but with a broader profile of tempered citrus, green pear, and soft mineral notes. A great fusion of intensity, depth, and finesse.

On the nose there are aromas of wild flowers, white peach, wild strawberry, herbs de Provence, tangerine, citrus zest, and hints of sea salt waft. On the palate there are flavors of tangerine, persimmon and freshly cut limes, with fresh floral nuances and rocky minerals on the finish. Crisp, dry and very refreshing.
