This unclassified Southern Rhône village is about 10 miles west of several Côtes-du-Rhône cru villages, and this is where Laurent Clapier farms 200 acres of Biodynamic vineyards, meadows, and lavender fields. P'tit Gaby is fermented with wild yeast in open fiberglass tanks and aged 9 months in steel. Laurent uses no additives, very little sulfur, and no fining/filtration.

The Foxen Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir is classic example of Pinot from this cool climate AVA. Fresh, spiced cherries with layers of strawberry, forest floor, brown spice and floral notes of lilac and lavender. This is a balanced and smooth Pinot, that hits on all cylinders, filling the palate with fruit, spice and floral notes all lifted up on integrated acidity.

Light golden in color. The nose has lots of minerality with slight granny smith apples and maybe a hint of lime. Medium bodied with a slightly oily texture. On the palate, the minerality comes thru with a touch of lime. Long finish.

'Spinning Cone' technology is used to reduce the alcohol from a portion of the base wine. This is a process of low vacuum distillation that can target removal of alcohol without impacting the aroma of the wine. The alcohol is reduced to below 1% on approximately 60% of the final volume, with 40% of the base blended back to achieve a final alcohol level of 7%
