The terraced, estate-owned vineyards of Murgo are found on the eastern volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, near the town of Santa Venerina, at 1,600 to 2,000 feet above sea level. A rosé de saignée, this wine is cold macerated for 24 hours before being bled off and fermented on selected yeasts, and then aged for 5 months in tank. Juicy and harmonious, with a clean, tangy finish.

For nearly 300 years, the Vesselle family has been tilling the chalky soils of Bouzy and cultivating some of the village’s best-placed Pinot Noir vines. Wines here combine a classic Champagne elegance with the signature Bouzy power, especially in wines such as the estate’s ‘Oeil de Perdrix.’ This unique rosé is a taste of Champagne history!

Planted in 1918, 70 miles inland from Los Angeles and certified organic by CCOF, this vineyard is part of California history. The vines are farmed without irrigation in granite rocks and sandy soil surrounded by freeways and track homes. This is one of the last reminders of an old California. Think burnt sugar, candied ginger, rich texute, with some rock & roll acidity.

Fruity in the best way full of bright cherries, strawberries & red plums - energized palate over a brilliant structure. Delicious, satisfying medium body. Lumbreras ferments this wine with the stems in 1000L concrete vats, macerates on the skins for 3-4 weeks, Amphora use imparts this rustic, dense wine with a fascinating texture that is meaty, gamey, and fruity.

This two-week maceration of late harvest Riesling presents a harmonious balance of aromas: apricot, herbal tea, and a touch of warm spices (cinnamon and clove come to mind). Bottled without any added sulfur or filtration. Really lovely, deep wintry orange wine full of spice with a slight honeyed character (no residual sugar; the wine is dry).

These northern Italian varieties are know for aromatics and Johan's winemaker Morgan Beck usually loves to macerate them on their skins for a real punch to the senses. In 2020 however she decided to play around with direct-pressing these grapes for a bright fresh white that nonetheless still has lots of fresh floral and stone fruit flavors but quenches thirst too!

Broad and expansive on the palate, it bestows lush, generous flavors of black cherry, blueberry crème de cassis and damp forest floor. Hints of lavender, anise and black olive complement the rich, ripe fruit flavors. Massive in weight yet elegantly structured, this wine is a powerhouse that reveals itself gradually yet deliberately. It finishes smoothly with leisure and length, on notes of blackberry, espresso bean and pomegranate.

Following several years of tough harvests (sometimes up to 80% of their fruit decimated), Peggy & Jean-Pascal of Marnes Blanches in the Jura turned to friends for help, sourcing organically farmed fruit from their like minded growers in neighboring regions. The 2020 Zeus Gonewild is a lightly extracted, ethereal Grenache from the south of France.

The 2018 abounds in the famous Rutherford ‘Dust’ – defined for us by a synergy of herbs and black fruit, tension between the flavors, and a long finish reminiscent of rough velvet. Deliciously exuberant now, the ‘18 has the makings of a wine that in time will show everything Rutherford cabernet is capable of—we suggest you put some bottles deep in your cellar.

The wine is produced under strict controlled conditions from top-quality grapes of the winery, from vineyards in the Upper Galilee and the southern Golan Heights.
