Mahogany red in color, Yzaguirre Reserva Red Vermouth is highly aromatic, velvety and pleasant on the palate, with woody, herby and spicy notes reminiscent of ripe fruit. Its initial flavor is very tasty and balanced, in perfect harmony with its acidity. Twelve months in oak barrels give it consistency and character.

Les Cortis is the only eight-vintage old project of Isabel Coiffier and Jeremy Decoster. Jeremy’s winemaking background is one of serious pedigree, having worked with the likes of Agnes and Olivier De Moor and Lilian Duplessis. “Naxide” is a blend of Chardonnay and Roussette (or, Altesse), and is mineral, saline, and extremely refreshing. Helmut Dolde, alongside his wife Hedwig, have reinvented Württemberg. A former chemist, Helmut works to develop his own synthetics that are more biodegradable and gentler on the land he tends. This 50/50 coferment of Riesling and Silvaner is so quaffable, with bright stone fruits and nervy acidity. In Helmut’s words, this wine “does not polarize.”

For this wine, old Grenache vines are biodynamically farmed, harvested by hand, and fermented with wild yeast before aging in amphora. This minimalist approach lets the grape shine, radiating dark fruits, loam and sweet leather scents, with a dense dark fruit character, a velvet texture, and a buoyant hint of citrus.

An amazing minerality defines this wine, perfect for fans of stony or briny white wines. Made from a white mutation of the red carignan grape, scents of quinine and grapefruit carry to the palate with dried citrus notes and a textured, grape-macerated mouthfeel. This special creation made from a base of two to five year old Iwai Tradition distilled at the family distillery in Nagano and matured in ex-Bourbon, ex-sherry and American Oak Casks before being finished for four months in rare Japanese Chestnut Oak Casks.
