818 Tequila is a tequila brand founded by Kendall Jenner. The tequila is made by cooking the agave in brick ovens for up to 40 hours and then crushing them using a tahona. After fermentation, it is double distilled in pot stills. The añejo tequila ages for over a year in French oak and then is blended with extra añejo tequila before bottling. Full of caramel, honey & herbs.

Light golden bronze in color. Warm, intense nose of cedar, browned butter, vanilla frosting, and butterscotch, with hints of bell pepper, banana, and apple. Full bodied but not oily, warm cinnamon, vanilla, and just barely noticeable barrel tannins give a nice structure to the mouth feel. More restrained and less sweet than many other añejos make this a sophisticated sipper.

It's aged for nine years in white oak barrels to create an unflinching balance of deep, old-style flavor with a natural oak sweetness and a palate that is rich, sweet, woody, full-bodied, almost fruity. Some in the industry consider it a top choice for mixing a Manhattan.

This wine displays a deep ruby color with pleasant perfumes of cherries and small red fruits that invite a gently, fresh, juicy and round flavour, with subtle spicy and mineral aromas.

The Cep Rosé is a refreshing, crisp, bright rosé that has verve and can be enjoyed without having to pick yourself up off the lawn. Though not a fruity rosé, minor notes of white peach, unripe nectarine, and watermelon playfully interact with a Belgian beer yeast aroma. The texture is crisp with medium to light body and quite a surprisingly long, salty finish.

(Burghound 90-92 points) A restrained but softly perfumed nose combines notes of red and dark cherry, spice, plum, sandalwood and a hint of violet. There is a bit more flesh to the equally racy, intense and stony flavors that exhibit slightly better depth and persistence, at least today.

Domaine Georges Lignier owns a full 2 hectares out of the 4 hectares that comprises the “Clos des Ormes”. This wine typically carries a lighter robe, deceptive perhaps because the concentration levels are high and limn the wine in high relief through its intense aromatics and persistent finish.
