The flagship wine of this biodynamic estate in the cool, idyllic Van Duzer Corridor in the Willamette Valley, their Pinot Noir is as pure an expression of the grape as you're likely to find. Beautiful bright cherry, cranberry and blueberry shot through with notes of root veg and forest herbs. As delicate as this wine is, will shine brightly with a great many foods.

A mix of apple and pear plus a hint of funk defines the nose. The mild palate leans toward fresh and baked apple slicked with honey, finishing dry and brisk with ginger and clove heat. Sip or mix.

A small side project started in 2019 by Paco Leyton of Clos des Fous. The vision began in Itata when Paco met the seventy-something-year-old José Neira & visited the vineyard his grandfather planted in the late 1800’s. Paco fell in love with the head trained, bush vines comprised of Corinto (aka Chasselas), Pais, Cinsault, and Aramon located in the La Leonora subregion of Itata

The 1.5 hectare vineyard sits on a slope of white silt, sand & granitic soil, littered with mica and a high concentration of quartz. The vines are non-irrigated, plowed by hand, and naturally farmed. Evoking fresh orchard fruit, white flowers, and chalk, Les Margotés is remarkably pure.Notes of white flowers, crisp green orchard, fresh bread and bee pollen preface the 2018 Rully 1er Cru Les Margotés, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and lively wine that's elegant and incisive, concluding with a saline finish.

Maison Rouge VS is an amber cognac with an orange glow. The first impression is floral with hints of rose petals, but slowly the fruit comes forward in full bloom. A light lemony flavor gives way to traces of vanilla, and the finish is spicy with a cinnamon fragrance.

Masterfully crafted at Chateau de Cognac, one of the oldest Cognac houses in France. Naturally aged to a beautifully bold blend with a rich bouquet of woody notes and a touch of cinnamon. Distinctively smooth flavors of spice, almond and cinnamon with dried fruit accents.

Situated on fairly steep slope with southern exposure, planted with a selection of Pinot Noir vines from Nuits-Saint-Georges chosen for teir aromatic qualities and moderate yield. Les Montots is a Mercurey of its own kind, structured and viforous, deep with a dark ruby color. Serve w/ red meat, game, and soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie and Vacherin.

Based in Nada, Japan, a region famous for its superior water & rice sources, Nihon Sakari has been producing Sake according to traditional methods for over a century. This is a smooth, balanced sake, with layers of nutty fruit notes, umami and subtle hints of herb and spice. Gentle, light aftertaste, as interesting on its own as with food.

Aromas of juicy fruits -- apple, pear, berry cherry & citrus -- and sugar cookies leap from the glass. Younger fruits, tropical notes, mineral, and a dark chocolate finish entertain the palate, turning to citrus notes as the sake warms. This Junmai Daiginjo excels in a bigger glass with champagne fare.

This experimental skin-contact wine is co-fermented from two separate harvests - an early harvest to extract the acid and citrus and a late harvest to bring out the more oxidative petrols. Originally destined to be a pet-nat, we instead set it free in tank. The final result is a carbonic orange Riesling

Our vineyard parcel is at the foot of an east-facing slope, below the Clos Saint-Jacques- one of Rully's most famous premiers crus. The richest white in the de Villaine stable, this Rully is an exercise in balance. Hazelnut & quince on the nose, followed by a mouthful of ripe, succulent yellow fruits.Despite its voluptuousness, the wine is dry, fresh, very stony, even salty!

Nose: Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice and a little oak.
Palate: Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit. Finish: Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.
