This fresh, fun Cab Franc, is classic Saumur but leans more crunchy raspberry/brambly forest berry than green spice. Light and earthy with silky tannins, this is a perfect everyday wine for pairing with tacos, veggie-forward dishes and even salmon. We love it with a slight chill.

The first taste of harvest 2021 is all savory with our moodiest Patatino Nouveau to date. This hazy expression of Pinot and Petite Sirah drinks more like a slightly wild Poulsard than the richer fruit of Nouveau’s past, but is no less jubilant. Patatino’s lightweight body, bright acidity, and slight spritz keeps you lifted from Nouveau day to New Year’s.

Basil Hayden Toast pours a bright bronze in the glass and has a woodsy nose that lives up to its “toasted” title, replete with plenty of dry oak but also rich maple syrup and lighter, fruity flavors including orange peel and apple slices in cinnamon.

The palate is more expressive and quite interesting, a bit fruity at first before layering in notes of green olive, beef jerky, and vanilla all on top of one another. The finish is chewy, sweeter than it would let on, and with a slightly vegetal undertone, reminiscent of Japanese pickles, and lots of black tea flavors. Really interesting stuff.

With twice as much juniper influence than the standard Leopold Bros gin, pumped up citrus and added Bergamot create a whole new profile. The finish is round and slightly sweet. Perfect in a Tom Collins!

This distinctive gin is flavored with just two botanicals: Juniper and raw honey. The northern honey is added just before bottling, so you really taste its floral flavors, which change depending on the type of blossom the bees harvest for pollen. So, this is truly a seasonal spirit. Nose: Fresh juniper and meadow flowers.

Mild citrusy aromas lead into a light, spiced palate. Look for a warming mix of aniseed, coriander and cedar moving into a mouthwatering salt-and-white pepper finish. Mix into Negronis. Distilled from cane sugar, with botanicals including Rocky Mountain juniper.

Belvedere Lake Bartezek is bright and fragrant with notes of freshly cut rye grain, grass and a hint of almond. Medium bodied and delicate with notes of spearmint, fresh hay and a hint of biscuit. Clean and crisp with persistent notes of menthol, fresh grass and rye bread.

Nose: It’s heavy on the rye, and also quite fruity, with plum, apricot and bright citrus predominating. Palate: Rich and sweet but not cloying, its big notes of caramel, with vanilla, cherry candy and hints of chocolate. Finish: The finish is all about the oak—dry, with a black pepper spiciness. The gorgeous aftertaste lingers, with notes of candied orange peel and toffee.

Domaine du Pré Semelé lies in a tiny valley a few miles northwest of the hilltop town of Sancerre. The estate is now managed by the third generation of the Raimbault family.
A fresh, harmonious cuvée! Crisp, crunchy grapefruit and lime citrus flavors combine with a subtle herbaceous element that adds complexity, leading to a long, saline finish.

Shimmering purple. Assertive dark berry, cherry, spicecake and floral pastille scents are complemented by suggestions of succulent herbs and licorice. Sappy and deeply concentrated on the palate, offering mineral-laced bitter cherry and blackberry preserve flavors that stretch out and turn sweeter with aeration. Youthfully gripping tannins add framework to the finish, which lingers with outstanding, mineral-driven tenacity.
