Giusto Occhipinti of COS is a benchmark producer in the Vittoria appellation of Sicily—he's one of the most influential producers in all of Sicily if not Italy as a whole. And if the name sounds familiar, yes, this is Arianna Occhipinti's uncle, who she studied under.

And the wine? Powerful, nutty, intense nose. Rich, herb-tinged pear fruit. Round, complex and balanced.

Barolo soul, Langhe charm.
Crafted from select Barolo vineyards, this expressive Nebbiolo opens with rose petal, red cherry, and crushed herbs. Silky tannins and mineral tension carry through a poised, persistent finish. A wine of finesse, depth, and unmistakable pedigree.

A slightly candied nose, followed by a floral palate, with rose petals, nectarines, raspberries, and candied red apples. A real "pool pounder" in the best sense of the term. - Food & Wine

Jean-Louis Chave sources the fruit for this wine from some of the finest vineyards in the Southern Rhône. The wine is true Chave, but in a different register, more like Châteauneuf than Hermitage, and for a fraction of the price. A strong mineral component comes across without effort on this very fine red. Reserve for a special occasion over braised or grilled gigôt of lamb.

Balanced with just the right amount of acidity and fruit, this Pinot Noir boasts alluring aromas of crushed pomegranate, fresh cherry, graham cracker, and thyme. Flavors on the palate showcase sweetened cranberry, tart raspberry, vanilla cream and hints of blood orange. The finish is intriguing and complex with herbal notes framed by nutmeg and vanilla.

Trepat is used to make ethereal, pale and herbal reds and rosés, so we knew his Trepat project in the Conca de Barberà (southern Catalonia, Spain) would be a hit. Pert and mineral, with a refreshing 11% alcohol and tart raspberry, cranberry, and (you guessed it!) pomegranate fruit. Best served with a chill alongside snacks, cheese, charcuterie and friends!

Sparkling wine made using the Charmat method, produced with the “Glera” varietal, native to the Treviso area and Pinot Nero. In this land, there are the best soils and weather conditions, ensuring a wine with unique characteristics. It is a vivacious and fresh wine that is versatile and quaffable, suitable for all occasions.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
The aromas of peach and apricot cobbler, lemon zest, and granola waft over creamy toffee.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The palate has vanilla and toffee up front with tropical fruit, pepper, and lemon grass on the back of the tongue.

Finish
The finish is medium length with more tropical fruit and lingering butterscotch notes.

Rich decadence from the wine influence. The palate is just as exciting with ginger, port, and subtle spice joining the sweet, rich notes from the nose. Dried figs, milk chocolate, and port notes lead the medium finish. A delightful experience through and through.

Same as the Pure Malt construction, but with a 10 year old age statement. This has the aromatic depth of the NAS Pure Malt, but with more austerity and refinement, making for a much more engaging experience on the whole. The palate is thick with nutty almond notes, sliding into notes of coffee, caramel cookies, and a hint of ginger. The creamy palate seals the deal.

From Japan’s coastal town of Akashi, this blended whisky marries malted barley, wheat, and rye for a soft, subtly spiced profile. Aged in ex-bourbon and shochu casks, it offers notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and toasted grain. Light, balanced, and easy-drinking—perfect for newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

Henry Road is incredibly well developed for its age and has flavor profiles that are unique in a malt. It does not attempt to just replicate a Scottish malt and is a bit sweeter than expected. The sweetness is balanced well with pepper and spice, making this an all around pleasant whiskey. The nose is nutty with roasted macadamia and toffee.

"The aroma displays a little apricot along with some honey and toasted oak. As you taste, the single malt shows a medium body with some apples, vanilla, and herbal flavors along with more toasted oak and barrel spices. This is a solid addition to the portfolio and a nice departure from sherry finishes in general."
