This appellation marks the transition between the rather masculine Gevrey-Chambertin wines and the feminine typicity of Chambolle-Musigny. The name "Les Sorbets" refers to the rowan trees (sorbiers) that were commonly found here. The trees are appreciated for their orange berries, flowers and wood.

Just like its neighbour, the illustrious Corton Grand Cru Monopole "Clos des Maréchaudes", this wine is also a “monopole” belonging to the Domaine du Pavillon estate.
fruity aromas of blackberry, strawberry and notes of mild spices, tea and cocoa. Boasting extremely supple structure, this balanced wine has lovely, pleasing, velvety tannins.

This cuvée is sourced from one of the best terroirs in the village of Chorey. About 375 cases are produced each year. The 2018 Chorey-lès-Beaune les Beaumonts, from purchased grapes, has attractive blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and quite minerally, showing impressive precision on the finish.

It is silky and delicate, pure and linear with depth and complexity. The nose and palate offer lovely dark hedgerow fruit, spice, tobacco and smoke with just the right amount of herby, leafy character. In the mouth it is fresh with delicate tannins, good balance and long sip that ends in a mineral finish.

Planted in 1926. The 2018 Bourgogne Passetoutgrain "Anthologie" is actually not the confirmed name at the time of this writing, but it is a special one-off cuvée that comes from 90-year-old vines. It boasts a very pure raspberry and wild strawberry bouquet mixed with rose petals, much more Pinot than Gamay. The palate is medium-bodied with raspberry and cranberry fruit.

The 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir offers black cherries, raspberry and light floral notes on the nose, which is quite pure in style and finely delineated. The harmonious palate is underpinned by fine tannins and vivid red fruit on a finish so approachable that you could drink it directly from any one of its used barrels.

Refined and pure aromas of dark cherries, blackcurrants, violets and cedar. The palate is full-bodied with seamlessly integrated tannins and focused acidity, giving notes of Damson plums, graphite, mocha, dried herbs and potpourri. Very well balanced and polished.

A zippy but even more refined, silken, layered wine with a super-strawberry & cherry Zinfandel aroma, taking on baking spice sensations as it glides across the palate like foam on tropical beach sand.

This cider arises out of a blend between two varieties, aiming to emphasise the taste of fresh apples. Topaz juice ferments in oak barriques and a part of the Gold Rush undergoes a weeklong maceration. Its result: a delicate acidity, a slight residual sweetness as well as a highly perceptible flavour of crispy sun-ripened apples, which is underlined by fine bubbles.

Made with 100% Barbera this is an undisgorged sparkling red that has gone through secondary fermentation in the bottle. It was aged in stainless steel tanks before 6 months rest in bottle. It’s light and bright with very pleasant acid balanced by a slightly sweet finish. Brilliant for a multitude of occasions!
