A beauty of a wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon aged in barrel and blended with Grenache aged in a concrete egg. Laurence Manya Krief, known to most as Yoyo, has 5 hectares of old vines in Banyuls-sur-Mer delicately nestled between the mountains and the sea. This wine from 100% old vine Grenache that sees two weeks of carbonic maceration is zippy, light and bursting with fresh strawberries, orange peel, lilac, cinnamon and a raspberry zing!

Gentle chopped herb (think tarragon) and snow pea aromas on the nose with sliced fresh pears and grapefruit. Wonderfully fresh and zesty, medium-bodied, with a clean and lightly salty finish. Drink now.

A vibrant and approachable red made from several plots in the village of Julienas, grown on granite sandy soils at 400m altitude. This wine offers lively red fruit aromas of raspberry and cherry, complemented by soft spices and subtle earthy notes. Smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and a refreshing finish make it easy-drinking.

This wine is made from purchased fruit from two organic suppliers. The first is in Bourré (a hilarious village name because it colloquially translates to "shit faced drunk") on clay and flint. The second is in Noyers-sur-Cher with soils of deep, draining sands. Direct press and cold racking of the gross lees for 18 to 24 hours.

"Cuvée Christie" is an exception among Roilette estate wines in a few ways. The vines are "young" for Roilette, mainly in the 30-40 year range. They are not part of the original Clos de la Roilette vineyard and thus, more crucially, have more typical Fleurie soils with more granite than clay or manganese. Pair with roast white meats, meaty fish, pizza night & red sauce pasta.
