The Grasso family has been producing wine since 1927, but Federico Grasso only started bottling in 1980, and has "produced a bevy of sensational efforts over recent vintages" (Parker). His sophisticated, modern Barolos are particularly notable for avoiding excessive wood aromas.

Intense ruby red in color, this wine shows aromas of fruit and spice typical of the grape variety. On the palate, it is dry, smooth and well-balanced, with ripe and silky tannins and a long, fruity and spicy finish.
Pair with starters such as sliced cold cuts and cheese. Also excellent with pasta with meat or vegetable sauces and grilled or short-fried meat.

Underbrush, wild herb and dark-skinned-berry aromas form the nose along with a whiff of camphor. On the firm, structured palate, tightly knit but noble tannins offset dried Marasca cherry, cranberry, orange zest and star anise. Tense and youthfully austere, it needs a few years to unwind. Drink 2022–2027.

California- Fermented cold to ensure maximum retention of bright fresh fruit aromas and to create a crisp and elegant Rose. The nose is bright with aromas of fresh strawberries and white peaches. The wine is dry and bursts with citrus.

Sweet aromas and flavors of toffee coated nuts, brown butter, potpourri, and diced green apples with a round, crisp, dryish light-to-medium body and a warming, delightful, medium-length finish with overtones of candy corn, poached pears, and ripe pineapple with light oak flavor. An oaky Cali Chardonnay that hits all the notes.

This deliciously bright and inviting Chardonnay offers layers of apricot, citrus and green apple, as well as hints of fresh honeysuckle and cinnamon. On the palate, the lovely pure fruit flavors are underscored by delicate acidity and a supple richness from sur lie aging. Fermented in both stainless steel and barrels, with 25% new French oak.

Full of charm and a great value for Burgundy. Bright ruby with a nose rich with aromas of red fruit (raspberry, red currants, wild strawberry). On the palate, the wine is pleasant, fruity and refreshing, with light tannins and great elegance.

This Pommard "Clos des Ursulines" reveals a fruity nose redolent of cherry, blackcurrant and fig. Full and round on the palate with ripe tannins and rich, but not heavy, texture. Powerful and well-structured yet remains subtle, elegant and almost "feminine" due to the vineyard’s proximity to Volnay. The finish is silky and velvety.

Writers Tears is an award-winning recreation of a whiskey blend that was a favorite of some Irish literary giants: Yeats, Shaw, Joyce, Beckett and Wilde, to name but a few. It was said that they enjoyed it so much, when they cried their tears were of whiskey. This is a full-bodied, flavorsome dram with a smooth, creamy texture.

Kentucky Owl is among the most-hyped bourbon and rye distillers in America. Its last two batches of rye were both 11 years old; Batch 1 scored 95 points from Whisky Advocate while Batch 2 scored 93 points. This third release uses some younger whiskeys, but it's still a lovely whiskey deserving of another high rating.

Distilled in small batches and aged in new American white oak barrels. The Whiskey Exchange named this "Whisky Of The Year" for 2019, making it the first whiskey made in the United States to achieve this honor. Warm toasted burnt sugar notes with spice, sweet, smoky fruit, candied cherries and honeyed vanilla. Remarkably elegant; starts out like a bourbon, finishes like a rye.

Willett continues to be one of the hottest names in Kentucky bourbon and rye, and this is their flagship spirit. After years of sourcing the whiskey for this one, Willett has recently begun adding in its own small-batch bourbons to the mix. What you get is a nicely balanced blend with a sweet, fruity nose and a palate caramel, toffee, candied pecans, spice cabinet and orange.
