The Château de Cugat was constructed in the 1500's. Located in the small town of Blasimon, it stands upon a hill overlooking the village. The nose is rich, round and inviting, while dense blackcurrant, vanilla, spice and smoke notes converge on the supple full-bodied palate. The tannin is silky and well-integrated, the finish long and persuasive.

The first vintages were released in 2013, and since then Torre a Cona has become a rising star in Tuscan winemaking. Today, a famed Piemontese/Val d'Aosta consulting team assists in overseeing vineyard management and winemaking, helping to ensure varietal pureness, grace and complexity.

This is as ‘Feints-y” as it gets, with all the bright, poppy, cranberry spice and herbaceous signatures we’ve come to know and love from this cuvée. The majority of the blend remains the usual Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo carbonic co-ferment. Small amounts of carbonic Montepulciano, Vermentino, Trebbiano, and even Grignolino found their way in as well.

Like the Müller Thurgau, this Kerner grows at an altitude of almost 900m above sea level in one of the highest vineyards in South Tyrol. Kerner is the German cross between Trollinger and Riesling, named after the Swabian poet Justinus Kerner.Lightning rod of freshness and acidity - citrus fruits like lemon/lime with hints of white peach and mango.

Lagrein is the result of a natural cross of Teroldego and another native grape variety and is a relative of Syrah. Lagrein flourishes in the hot sites in the Bolzano river basin where the soils are high in sand content, gravel and porphyry. On the nose, this wine is intense and fruity, with subtle spice and earth. Medium-bodied, with present tannins and structure, while maintaining its freshness. Pair with red meat and any kind of cheese.

Vin de California is the brainchild of Adam and Kate Vourvoulis, who strive to make wines from heritage varieties in a totally natural way. The grapes for this wine are grown organically at the Bassi Vineyard and then fermented in an open top wood foudre (basically a gigantic barrel) with native yeast and no additions. It went through natural malolactic fermentation and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Minimum S02 added.

Bright, light yellow. Crushed-stone minerality dominates the nose. Chalky more than fruity on the sappy palate, with surprising acidity lifting and extending the distinctly tactile, somewhat phenolic finish. Quite serious from Leroux. Doesn't disappoint.

Fine herbs, chervil and coriander, a pollen-icing sugar-mimosa-come-peppermint mix, eucalyptus, grass, white fruits. On the palate we have yellow plum and damson plum, a hint of marmalade and a slight note of apricot jam, crepe Suzette. On the palate, citrus, guava and grapefruit, with a non-pretentious finish. Precisely stunning acid and precisely stunning wine.

This is a quintessentially fresh Dolcetto that looks toward fruit and deliciousness over alcohol and power. These grapes come from Marcarini and the wine is made entirely in steel. SO2 levels are low. Around 600 cases are made each year from this high quality producer. Lovely for dining al fresco.

While demure on the nose, this light-footed Pinot Blanc offers crisp red-apple and lemon flavors, accented by hints of nut, toast and white blossom. It's silky in mouthfeel but invigorating on the finish. Extremely food-friendly and versatile, try this wine with spicy pad thai or a Popeye's Chicken Sandwich.

Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme is a rockstar in the world of natural wine, crafting wines of remarkable purity and integrity. Made from Côt (the local name for Malbec), the wine is a complex concoction of plum, cherries, violets, and minerals, with soft but engaging tannins and silky texture. Grown from biodynamic and organic vineyards.

From winemaker Pax Mahle, this red comes from 100 + year old Mission vines from Somer's Vineyard in Lodi. Savory and spicy on the nose, this light red adds copious floral and fruity notes on the palate that mix with hints of pepper and umami to make for a deliciously quaffable red, that has just enough crunchy tannin to keep everything in check.
