This wine is 100% Grenache and produces a classically spicy, full-bodied wine that speaks clearly of the “garrigue” of the region. The grapes are destemmed before the fermentation and the cuvaison is on the order of three weeks duration. The wine is bottled without filtration after twenty to twenty-four months of “elevage”.

Vinification includes rapid destemming and pressing of the grapes, with 7-9 days of maceration in vitrified cement. This wine sees a minimum of 12 months in cement, then completes the aging in large oak barrels. Brilliant, ruby red in color, typical of Nebbiolo. Balsamic, spice, and roses are present on the nose, and the palate is well-balanced and cohesive, with acidity, minerality, fruit and earth.

Vöcal wines are the brainchild of sommelier/winemaker Ted Glennon, whose mission is to let his vineyard sources do most of the talking. His 2017 Alfaro Vineyard Grüner was fermented and aged in a mixture of used French oak barrels and stainless steel drums, and it displays a pitch-perfect balance of sunny, ripe-fruit richness and mineral-driven raciness.

Combining a roasty Imperial Stout with jammy Syrah wine notes, this beer is bold and complex. Notes of coffee, dark chocolate and anise from a blend of roasted malts meld with flavors of plums, cherries and stewed fruits from Syrah grape must in this jet black stout. Aged on American oak to add some light toasty vanilla to the mix.

Known best for their Bomb! series, Prairie has carved out quite a niche for themselves with their barrel-aged and eclectic takes on stouts. It's packed with coconut, cacao nibs, and a *serious* amount of marshmallow (as opposed to a "whimsical" amount of marshmallow, which we find stupid and dumb and lame and stupid).

Vibrant and intense, a mouthwatering mix of lemon meringue, ruby grapefruit, lime sherbet and dried pineapple notes that leap out the glass with equally intense aromatics. A hint of lemon verbena and dried ginger linger on the finish. Delightfully textured and smooth with balanced yet mouthwatering acidity, this wine veers into the green spectrum of Sauvignon; think nettles and elderflowers rather than flamboyant tropical fruits.

Certified organic grapes were hand-picked and whole bunch-pressed before being naturally fermented with wild yeast in old French oak barriques. The wine remained on lees in barrel for 12 months before being blended and lightly filtered before bottling. The nose demonstrates earthy, herbal and dark fruit characters with hints of undergrowth.

An elegant and finely balanced wine. Ripe, concentrated flavors of citrus and nectarine fruit with barrel ferment nuttiness and a slightly creamy texture help to give nice weight and finish.
This wine comes from a small parcel in the Twin Valley Vineyard, located in the Fareham Lane area of Marlborough. The vineyard is at the western end of the Wairau Valley.

Big, black, and beautiful. La Negra is an oak-aged Russian Imperial Stout aged in 4 Roses barrels, brewed with our British Pale malt and an enormous amount of roasted malts. A 5-hour boil lends a big burnt sugar and raisin character while the intense bitterness gives the beer an incredible dark chocolate finish.

English Style Barleywine aged in Laws Whiskey barrels for 14 months .The malt on the palate is the star of the show showcasing notes of caramel and toffee. Raisin and fig come through mid palate along with some citrus hop notes while the whiskey character comes though on the finish without overpowering the rest of the flavors.
