This plot is comprised of large quantities of limestone scree lying upon deep soils. The wine shows a burst of pure fruit flavours on the palate with a sensation of creamy smoothness given by tannins that are already very mellow. This is a delicious wine that opens up rapidly.

Light straw yellow color – elderberry and exotic fruit on the nose with a fruit dominated finish. One of the finest single vineyards of Sauvignon (Blanc) in the Colli Orientali. These wines are more creamy in texture with excellent acidity. Truly, one of the undiscovered gems.

It has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and opens with notes of crushed black plums, blackberry compote and wild blueberries with hints of spice box, tobacco and dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with juicy black fruits plus plenty of spicy sparks, featuring a plush texture and great freshness supporting the long finish.

The nose shows typical limestone influence, with nice nutty, toasty and slight mineral hints. The palate is powerful and dense and aeration brings out some honey character as well as ripe fruits. The finish is quite velvety. The wine is aged 8 months in 40 year old barrels.

The big, concentrated yet velvety-textured, magnificent 2003 Shiraz reveals a seamless integration of tannin, acidity, wood, and alcohol, it boasts aromas of blackberry liqueur intermixed with violets. The fragrant aromatics are followed by an explosively rich, full-bodied, unctuously-textured, compelling Shiraz.

The 1997 Trilogy is very extracted with aromas that suggest anise, black fruits and ripe dark cherries. It is rich in the mouth and expansive on the palate with ripe berry, black cherry, coffee and currant flavors dominating.

Kerner is a hybrid of Schiava Grossa and Riesling which was first cultivated in Weinsberg, Germany around 1930. The vines are grown on very light, gravelly and sandy soils at higher elevations in the sunny Isarco Valley. Aromatic, with a light note of nutmeg, fruity notes of peach, apricot and mandarin oranges. Dry, full-flavored and juicy, pair this with lighter fare.
