A nose of incense, noble woods, quince, a touch spirity and lots of hazelnuts. Bitter, intense and powerful with the roundness of an Oloroso, persistent & full, w/ good acidity, ending with a coffee note

But here is a start - The vineyards of Chateau Musar, Founded in 1930, are located in the Bekaa Valley and in Mount Barouk, which is about a two-hour drive from the winery in Ghazir, just north of Beirut. The Bekaa Valley receives an average of 300 days of sunshine annually.

This sparkling shows aromas of white fruits, citrus, tropical fruits, and light floral notes. The palate is exquisite, complex and full of flavor, with good acidity and notes of lime and pineapple. It is dry and long on the finish.

100% Pommard clone Pinot Noir from Silvershot Vineyard and Cancilla Vineyard grown on marine sediment and silty clay loam from Willamette Valley in Oregon at 300–600 feet elevation.
