From a site in the middle of Yakima Valley and seeing a shorter stint in barrel without malolactic fermentation, the 2017 Viognier Art DenHoed offers a vibrancy and freshness that's beautiful. Tart citrus, mint, crushed stone, and white flowers all emerge from this medium-bodied beauty that has real Viognier character and stays fresh and lively on the palate.

Martin Nigl’s Freheit is sourced from 4 different vineyards in the hills above the city of Krems. The name Freiheit means “freedom” and is believed to be some of the first privately owned vineyard land in the valley not controlled by the Church or a feudal estate.

In the glass the 2019 develops an intense display of crushed rocks, savory exotic spice, lavender and black raspberries. This is velvety and rich in texture. It drenches the palate in a concentrated wave of ripe wild berry fruits, with brisk acids working to offset the wine’s youthful, primary vigour. There’s an inner sweetness here, which can currently be sensed more than tasted, along with notes of sweet herbs, violets and wild botanicals. The 2019 finishes structured, almost chewy and incredibly persistent. This is far from your average bottle of Montepulciano, and it will require a few years to come fully into focus.

Remarkably elegant and bright offering sumptuous aromas of fresh red and blue fruit, baking spices, vanilla and a delicate fragrance of spring florals. The bouquet is augmented by nuanced notes of sage, rosemary, and black olive. Juicy flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cassis flood the palate and creamy, fine-grained tannins deliver a delightfully round structure.

This wine is produced in our Feudo di Mezzo winery, lying in the centre of Etna’s wine growing area, from Carricante grapes partially fermented in barriques. This is the result of searching for an expression of this noble grape cultivated in the unique and splendid terroir of Etna.

This wine is certified organic and made from 30 year old vines. There is a strong sense of the sea throughout his wines, with the cooling breezes of the wild Atlantic keeping the Hautes Noelles Muscadet Les Parcelles fresh and mineral; delivering oyster shell-purity from these sandy/clay soils.

This aromatic and refreshing wine is a blend of un-oaked Chardonnay, Grillo and Viognier. Each variety is harvested, de-stemmed, and macerated separately, before fermenting in stainless steel tanks and spending about 5 months on the fine lees. The wine is pale yellow and bright, with a delicate bouquet of wild flowers, white peach and melon, followed by a dry, savory finish.

Today, the Hex vom Dasenstein vineyard produces some of Germany's best Pinot Noir/Spätburgunder.
