The Languedoc is a region with plentiful sunshine that is famous for producing quality wines in abundance. This wine has fine aromatics, pure fruit expression, fresh acidity, varietal character and above all, a persistent finish. Deep garnet color with vibrant plummy and blackberry fruit that fills the mouth. Soft and supple on the palate with good intensity of fruit.

This is a complex and compelling wine from one of Hawkes Bay's top producers. Cherry and orange notes mingle with black olive, cracked pepper, smoke and cumin. These lead into a medium body, with balanced acidity and silky tannins. Drink with a wide variety of Middle Eastern cuisine.

Understated and elegant. This isn't dopey, slutty Cabernet slathered in new oak and fake fruit. It's real wine. The bouquet consists of aromas of cassis and black cherry, a mild touch of oak and a slight hint of earth. Medium in body with fantastic acidity, it is very juicy, with a medium-long finish. All wild yeast.

An 8th generation winery, the Gautherin family knows what they are doing with Chablis vines. Great acidity, stony and briny mouthfeel with saline flavor profile that also offers tart green apple, melon and a hint of lush tropical fruit on the finish. Welcoming young, the wine should gain honeyed complexity through 2026 and hold a bit further.

The Montrevenots vineyard is kinda’ cool; it rests just above “Clos des Mouches” along the Pommard border. It has iron-rich soils and a southerly exposure, a straight forward recipe for gutsy red Burgundy. Notes of dusty cherry and pomegranate brew, damp leaves, and an accordion of fall spices: clove, star anise, and allspice. From aroma to palate, it sucks you in like an earthy ripe Pommard, but it finishes softly, like a proper Beaune

2018 was a very warm growing season, and dry through Spring and Summer with a change to wetter conditions in the Autumn harvest period. It was the quickest harvest ever for Satellite, with the grapes rapidly picked from the vines between periods of rain. The final wine has aromas of lime juice, kiwi, and black-currant over a layer of tropical fruits.

Fermented using only native yeast and wine additives are scarcely used during the fermentation process, just small amounts of sulfur dioxide. The wine was aged in old French oak barrels, with the aim of ensuring that the aromas and tastes from the wood are not transferred to the wine and thus do not mask the characteristics typical of its terroir

The aromas are very complex and change considerably in the glass. Perfume, spice, tea, stone fruit and citrus blossoms are some of the notes detected. The texture and ripeness and gentle tannins result in a wine that has incredible length and complex flavor profile. The wine also has wonderful fruit volume characterized by stone fruit and mineral flavors.

Pale lemon yellow in color with intense aromas of ripe citrus lime, stone fruit and fresh cut grass, that lead to medium bodied, fresh palate. A ripe fruit character is balanced by crisp acidity and moderate alcohol, with a lingering finish.

Grapes were picked early to preserve freshness and balance in the wine. Fermentation was very slow and cool. Batches were fermented separately with different yeast strains to add complexity to the wine. It was then blended after fermentation. The 2018 is a zesty, refreshing style with low alcohol, and has appealing, understated apple and citrus flavors.
