The Famille Dutraive Selections was born out of necessity. Due to new erratic weather patterns the Dutraive Family had to source fruit from other growers in Beaujolais. They make a commitment to source their fruit from ONLY organic producers and apply their pristine and old world style of vinification when making the wine.

Our classic brut sparkling, made from Chardonnay, is fresh and vibrant, with aromas of elderflower balanced by complex notes of pear and citrus. Bright acidity leads to an elegant, dry finish.

A very pale pink rosé with violet glints, which looks lovely in the glass with dense “legs”. Elegant and fresh on the nose, at the same time delicate and complex, with reminders of red fruit such as strawberries, peaches, and white blossom. A supple, smooth mouthfeel, filling your mouth with fruity nuances which recall the sensations experienced on the nose.

The name "Submarine Canyon" is a reference to the deep underwater canyon located in the Monterey Bay. This canyon helps provide the marine climate ideal for growing chardonnay. Ancient glacial soils made up of sand, gravel, limestone, and shale loam help create wine with bright acidity and saline like minerality. Look for flavors of Meyer lemon, peach, almonds and maybe a bit a banana!

A rosé de saignée produced with the lightest touch in order to preserve the lightness and fragrance of the grapes. Super refined, fragrant, with delicate tones of cherry tart, cherry stone, raspberry, rhubarb and a hint of strawberry. Mineral and lingering on the palate, this wine will provide great pleasure whether served as an aperitif or with appetizers and light dishes.

Outstanding notes of black cherries, blackberries, graphite, lead pencil shavings, violets and beautiful minerality all emerge from the glass and this beauty is ripe, plump, rounded, and incredibly textured on the palate, with sweet tannin. It’s a beautifully pure, sexy, little fruit bomb to drink over the coming 4-5 years.

This delicate yet beautifully complex wine is made with 91% Zinfandel co-fermented with 9% Petit Syrah. The grapes come from the Rutherford Dust Vineyards, 100% CCOF Certified Organically Farmed. With a pale ruby color this wine has aromas dominant of white fresh flowers, white apricot marmalade, ripe strawberries, juicy blackberries, and underbrush. 500 cases produced.

Driven by experimentation and farmhouse brewing traditions, Draai Laag looks to the past literally with Relic. The name Relic refers to the yeast fermenting this beer, discovered in a 400 year old chest from a French Monastery. This ancient yeast fills the glass with notes of an earthy citrus grove with a touch of peppery spice and hay.
