Icardi's main tier of wines are like this: clean, pure, lively. Similar to a good Gavi except in its name (Icardi is further west in the Langhe), this Cortese is very mouthwatering with classic lemon/lime notes and some fuller stone fruit tones. Round in the mouth, with vibrant structure, crisp minerality and the grape's typical great acidity. A summer pleaser, for sure.

The nose combines, smoky, spicy and creamy notes with aromas of ripe berries and a touch of earth. It's a matter of style, but I like it less when the oak is more obvious, even if the wider audience might prefer it. However, this should work very well with food and better integrate the oak with a little more time in

Julien Merle is a Beaujolais guy. He took over his parents’ estate about 8 years ago and became friends with Jean Foillard and Guy Breton who encouraged Julien to begin bottling his own wine. Over the years he has introduced horse plowing, natural yeasts, and now makes the wines totally without additives. Simple, straight forward gluggers.

Planted in 1972, Hyland is one of Oregon's classic vineyards. It has a mix of clones and soil types, giving the wine a good amount of depth. Further, the wine is partially aged in Oregon oak which - though uncommon - adds to the terroir. Fresh red fruit, pronounced spice, medium frame, supple, elegant and poised, classic cool-climate Pinot Noir.

The wine was aged in 60 Gallon neutral French Oak barrels. The Sangiovese was the most expressive fruit throughout harvest, showing beautiful aromas like cinnamon and clove. Amore Rosso is a play on words with our Love Red. The Italian sister wine to our Love Red. We wanted to make a simple, accessible, high acid, natural – food friendly (pizza wine)!

A small producer of Oregon Pinot Noir that showcases the personality of specific terroir. This is a Single-Vineyard bottling from Madrona Hill Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. The nose leads with black cherries & dark red fruits with notes of savory Italian herbs. Great concentration and fullness on the palate, with a plush velvet texture & bright acidity.

High elevation, cold coastal breezes, extreme low vigor soils and dense plantings converge to grow an enigmatic style of Syrah mostly unknown in California. Yorkville Highlands is located in Mendocino County, just to the southeast of Anderson Valley AVA. Light on its feet, spiced full of all the things we adore about Syrah- lavender, violet, olive,peppercorn and graphite.

Ripe plum, juicy cherry, red apple core and chalk tones dominate the nose. Crushed strawberries mixed with invigoratingly fresh Bing cherry and red apple flavors explode on the palate. Works with herb encrusted roast chicken, pan-seared duck breast, artisan pork, duck or rabbit paté, cured meats and young or aged mild cheeses on rustic bread.

Attractive aromas of black fruit and spice. Smooth, ready-to-drink. Spends more than a year in traditional small oak barrels to impart depth and complexity, highlighting the exceptional balance of flavors and textures that the unique climate and soils of Paso Robles add.

Peters’ Oubliée is textural and razor sharp. And it combines these two contrasting elements with beautiful harmony. 2014 was a tough vintage, but Brovia has exceeded expectations and crafted a beautiful bottle of wine here. Instead of releasing single Cru designated bottles, Unio is a blend of the best wine. It's the only wine they released this vintage and the quality is exceptional. Elegant, delicate and light on it's feet, this wine shows the beauty rather than the brawn of Barolo.

The vineyards of the Enfer d’Arvier appellation are situated in an amphitheater-shaped site on steep slopes in a high-altitude valley, which receives ample sun. Danilo Thomain is the only independent vigneron working this tiny appellation. Made from the Petit Rouge grape and vinified in cuve, it has a compelling rusticity with a wild berry impression and a lively freshness on the palate.

This is Bea's greatest white wine, and thus one of the greatest Orange Wines in the world. From 100 years old vines, trained like trees (Arboreus) this wine is singular and utterly unique. Skin contact and lees contact give this wine structure and richness, yet the acidity is amazingly complete, creating a wine that's superbly giving. Not to be missed.
