Jacquère is a clean and fresh alpine white grape variety grown in Savoie, France. The white wines of Jacquère are highly prized but traditionally hard to come by outside France. This wine boasts a bright, lively acidity with aromas of freshly cut grass, green apples and pears; on the palate it displays its clean minerality and lively citrus flavors with a touch of apple.

On the nose its spicy and greedy with violet, pepper, cocoa, licorice, cherry and blackberry. Spice and pepper with powerful tannins in the mouth. Balanced, it enchants the palate with its attack and its length in the mouth, notes of violet. Beautifully vibrant!

This opens with delicate aromas reminiscent of white spring flower and a whiff of orchard fruit. On the palate, fresh acidity underscores creamy Bartlett pear and nectarine zest that lead to a clean, bright finish.

The Defaix family has grown wine in Chablis since the Sixteenth Century. Stewards of some of the finest vineyards in the region, the family’s old-vine Chablis comes from vines that are 45-70 years- old. Deep, rich, and magnificently concentrated, the wine still boasts classic chablisienne cut and ethereal minerality.

This red Burgundy is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the Santenay commune. This wine shows a great finesse with a lovely aromatic palate. Fresh and elegant nose revealing red fruit aromas. Supple wine, lightly structured, fruity and fresh.

5th gen winemaker, learning the craft his father, Michel Magnien works with amazing vineyards. This comes from only organic sites that he harvests by hand himself. Mostly fruit declassified from Chambolle Musigny, Marsannay, and Fixin. I love the freshness here, which I think comes from the partial stem inclusion. However, enough concentration to remain satisfying. - MB

Perfectly balanced flavors of the orchard come across with beautiful pear and fruit blossom that lends to a very balanced wine with zippy acidity.

A pale yellow color with green reflections. A lively nose, fresh, lemony, citrus zest with in-line background notes typical
of the Entre-Deux-Mers Sauvignons. A fresh, crisp mouth, a sweetness married to a nervous extension on medium bubbles.

Light bodied, pleasantly mineralic and VERY perfumed! Recommend as a standalone sipper-- or--great with aromatic foods like southeast Asian if you want a red alternative to gewurtz or Riesling.

This blend of Spätburgunder, Cabernet Dorio, Dornfelder, Portugieser is surprisingly deep and intense, with spicy dark fruit, crunchy acidity and a decent whack of tannin in the finish. Yet given a year or two in bottle, and even a warm year starts to take on a lithe minerality – somehow, in Jochen’s hands, it turns out that even Dornfelder can show terroir. Who knew?

Bouvet-Ladubay sources its fruit from more than 100 plots in the Loire Valley, obtaining the best quality at every harvest through its long-standing relationships with winegrowers. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, then the wines are blended and the cuvée is bottled for the second fermentation, following the traditional method.

The Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is intended to be approachable, consumed relatively young, and a versatile food companion. Hobo Wine Company is always after a more subtle, more restrained, almost lighter style of Cabernet Sauvignon then may be typical in California these days, but also something that is bright and characteristic of the variety.
