Antica Torino uses 13 herbs (wormwood, gentian, aloe, rosemary, vanilla, rhubarb, thyme, cumin, bay leaf, ginger, genepy, oregano and grapefruit), which macerate in alcohol at 96 degrees for a period of 30 days. Then they are combined with a blend of cane sugar, muscat must and Trebbiano wine, which is aged in steel tanks for 45-60 days, then it is bottled and rested.

Loads of fruit show on the nose of this wine: green and red apple, strawberry and ample, zesty citrus. The palate is taut, fresh, dry and precise, shot through with appetizing fruity flavors. A wonderful, flavorsome rosé, with or without food.

Bright, lifted and decidedly medium in body. The flavors are distinctly red toned and the acids are bright. Sweet red cherry, red plum, mint and floral notes add nuance, but it is the wine’s overall energy that really makes an impression. Even at this early stage, the 2016 Geyserville is a knock-out.

Seeing 15 months in roughly 20% new puncheons, the 2013 Chardonnay Frenchman Hills Vineyard is absolutely smokin’ Chardonnay that needs to be tasted to be believed. It offers fresh, lively and juicy notes of orchard fruits, citrus blossom, mineral, crème and sappy green herbs to go with a medium to full-bodied, elegant, beautifully layered style on the palate.

The rosé is fairly fruit forward for the style, with a pronounced strawberry essence and touch of sweetness. This rosé won’t exactly rock your world, but in the grand scheme of things, we’ll take it any day over Olde English 800. But, if you are going to chug it straight from the bottle, ask for a brown bag...

This wine is excellent, offering up aromas of cherries, plums and berries mingled with notions of peony, burning embers and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's seamless and succulent, with melting tannins, lively acids and a long, precise finish.

It is from a parcel that the Alary’s acquired for Jean-Etienne, who is the 11th generation of a male Alary, vigneron in Cairanne, dating back to 1692. Thus they use the name 1692 on this cuvee.

Conundrum Rosé led us to push into new territory. We make this wine from only one variety, Valdigué, which remains largely unknown and grows only in small quantities in California. Our goal was to create a Rosé that is uniquely bright and fresh, with more character than people typically expect. Fruity but not at all sweet, with scents watermelon and fresh Wild strawberries.

Ruby red in color, this Nebbiolo offers aromas of red fruit with notes of spices, white pepper and anise. On the palate, it is balanced with bright fruit. Pairs well with pizza, pastas with simple sauces, sausage, ham, charcuterie and spicy dishes.
