Powerful red, with concentrated flavors of red plum, cherry and boysenberry that are layered with plenty of rich spice and mineral accents. Touches of slate and cardamom make for a complex finish. Drink now through 2023.

The 2013 is a tasty, easygoing Barbaresco to drink over the next decade or more. There is good depth in the glass, with pretty notes of tobacco, licorice, herb and worn-in leather that add nuance. Sweet red cherry, pomegranate & a closing burst of acidity meld into the finish. The tannins are present, but they are also pretty much buried by the creaminess of the fruit. Textbook

The 2012 Merlot hits the palate with serious intensity and tannic heft. Dark and virile to the core, the 2013 is flat-out delicious. Even with all of its intensity, the 20123 retains the classic Ridge sense of mid-weight structure. Readers should plan on cellaring the 2012 for at least a few years. This is impressive stuff.

A deep ruby red, with violet reflections in the glass. This wine displays fresh aromas of red and black berries. Well-rounded with firm tannins, this Nero d'Avola entices the palate with jammy ripe fruit followed by a wave of black spices.

Rkatsiteli is the one of the oldest wine grapes known to man with origins in Georgia (the country). An herbaceous wine with notes of pear, lemongrass, basil, tea leaf and grapefruit with a vibrant, crisp acidity.

Comes equipped with a bundle of pure red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry on the nose. This just unfurls beautifully, becoming quite floral with time. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity. You can feel the energy in this Morgon, and though it is not as persistent or as voluminous as the 2015, there is impressive precision here.

Complex, leafy with olive fruit and dried oregano. Beetroot fruit. Roasted Mediterranean vegetables. Textured by assertive tannins that provide counter-balance to the sweet fruit. Oak provides cedar, toast, char & dark liquorice and exotic spices.

Rainy and lush, 2008 saw an ideal growing season with a little bit of botrytis. Concentrated, intense and textured, this is a triumph. This finessed wine layers its succulent orchard fruits with warm baking spices, exotic white flowers, tea leaves, toasted nuts, citrus zest and hints of mushroom. Uncurling on the palate, energetic yet subtly weighty; it’s extraordinary!
