Domaine Georges Lignier owns 1.8 ha of Aligote all within Morey St. Denis. Made from 5 plots, the most significant part (70%) is from 60 year old vines located in “les aires”. Fermentation (with natural yeast)and aging is in stainless steel tanks. Deeply mineral and direct, this is classic Aligote.

Intensely herbal in a positive way, redolent of cilantro, mint and eucalyptus that convey a cooling and cleansing aura to its texturally polished palate. Chew of apple skin and piquant tang of pear skin engender invigoration, while reduction supplies mouthwateringly sweet savor and sense of richness in a persistently juicy, chalk-kissed finish.

A firm Champagne, with notes of green apple, white cherry, smoky mineral and candied lemon zest. Vivacious, showing hints of toast and wax on the finish.

An impressive wine built to last. Bertani does a great job of presenting the purity of the wine's fruit, its territory and its tradition. The Amarone is not overbuilt or too muscular. Instead, it walks with small, poised footsteps that carry it long and wide. The bouquet shows classic notes of dried fruit, toasted almond, resin, cola and grilled herb.

The wine always leads with great aromatics leaning towards Asian spices, sweet kirsch and crushed strawberry fruits gently layered with subtle floral notes. Due to the deep Jory soil making up more than half of this site, the wine tends to be quite lush, almost opulent with medium tannins and a long elegant finish. Fermentation is done with ambient yeasts .

Super bright, lifted red jubey aromatics positively leap from the glass, leading to a vibrant, tangy palate with small red fruits. Again that jubey freshness, a savoury lick of garrigue herbs and a crisp tangy finish. There's only one thing missing at this point-charcuterie!

right pinkish-red color. Fresh, pure aromas and flavors of red cherry, raspberry and orange peel. Very juicy with outstanding definition, lovely acid-fruit balance, crisp, clean, floral finish with sneaky concentration. Made entirely from indigenous Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes.

Medium bodied with a healthy cherry colour, jaunty nose and sleek, sweet-fruited palate of raspberry jam, plum pie, strawberry and baking spices. A lovely wine! Chill lightly and drink without food, or with cured meats, picnics or salmon/tuna.

Pale salmon color, with delicate gold highlights and flashes of bright coral. Grilled peaches, wild strawberries, and pomegranate emerge at first, giving way to rhubarb, persimmon, white cherries, and geranium leaves as the nose evolves in the glass..Berry and stone fruit flavors that recall the beautiful nose, along with palpable, pink sea salt minerality.

Nice light salmon color, typical of Bandol. The wine expresses some citrus, Pomelos (a delicious type of grapefruit) and lots of white fruit aromas and minerality. The flavors are fresh, fruity and very aromatic with tons of apricot and mango.
