This 2013 Cab delivers a relatively profound set of aromatics even for a wine that’s only 11 months of age. With almost unreal richness of blue and black fruits, spring flowers, graphite and spice, this is a sensational inky, full-bodied wine that will come close to being a perfect wine when bottled after its full élevage in barrel. Spectacular!

Distinct and supple with the fragrance of violets, typical of a classic Fleurie. Fresh aromas of black fruits, cherry stone, mild spices permeate the nose, while the same fruits and spices are ripe and fresh on the palate. There is a subtle earthiness that surfaces with time and silky tannins and finish.

40-50yr old vines on deeper and pebbly terres blanches soils, the oak-fermented 2015 Sancerre les Denisottes offers a very clear and fruit intense nose of ripe white (stone) fruits along with lemon and some well-integrated oak flavors with a hint of crushed ripe pips. Full-bodied, round & elegant on the palate, this wine has charming fruit and a dense, well structured texture.

Produced by the Trappist nuns from a 50/50 blend of Ciliegiolo and Sangiovese was organically cultivated from young vines in the area around our Monastery in Vitorchiano. It underwent a 15-day natural fermentation without any forced stabilization with 15 days on the skins, producing a very pale color. BENEDIC (= Benedite) = a request for a blessing.

Bright with medium deep cherry-red with pink hues. Vibrant aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries with hints of sweet spices & floral, rose petal notes. Medium body with moderate high acidity and the slightest hint of ripe tannins. Flavors are consistent with the aromas with some shades of sweet grass. The finish is moderately long with evolving flavors that add complexity.

Arnauld Cassini is one of a few producers leading a revolution. A revolution against the intervention-heavy winemaking which has plagued one of the world’s finest terroirs. With close friends Catherine and Pierre Breton, and taking inspiration from Didier Dagueaneau, he takes a hands-off approach in the vineyard. This extends to the cellar, where he uses no oak (preferring concrete as a vessel for fermentation and maturation), minimal sulphur and neither fines nor filters his wines. Compelling and delicious!
