Layered aromas of red and dark berries are complemented by subtle savory characters. The palate is bright and shows an intense juiciness of ripe red berry compote, earthy undercurrents and a refreshing thread of acidity. Really quite moreish yet will also age well over the next few years.

The wine opens with fresh red fruits aromas, light floral accents and notes of Asian spices. The palate is mouth-filling and lush with juicy primary fruit such as cherry and pomegranate balanced with an earthy complexity. Vibrant acidity and supple tannins support the flavors through a long, satisfying finish. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Chianti Superiore, ruby red in color, offers inviting wild-fruit characteristics and a balanced structure with soft tannins set off by bright acidity. It is medium bodied, with an approachable, ripe cherry palate that is dry and soft. This wine pairs beautifully with a wide variety of fresh, seasonal and simply prepared Italian foods.

Bright, spicy and polished, with pretty pear and floral flavors under a cloud of clove and green peppercorn, lingering with freshness and vibrancy. This appealing wine has notes of pear, apple and apricot along with high-toned barrel accents. It's medium-plus bodied with a rich feel delivering a lot of quality and value.

Though this northern outpost of Burgundy is known more for its white wines, Pinot Noir flourishes just ten miles north-east of Chablis. Moutard crafts his fruit from 60-year-old vines, whose juice is matured for nearly eight months in 50% stainless steel vats and 50% in neutral oak vats. Minimal sulfur is used. Flush with raspberry, cherry, and strawberry.

This single vineyard Sancerre has the added complexity of mineral and herbaceous flavours on the palate. Well balanced and round in the mouth, the immense long notes of gooseberries and citrus combine with the crisp flinty notes which linger on the finish. Perfect as an apertif on a summers evening.

Classic dark berry fruit with a hint of dark chocolate and violets on the nose. On the palate it is well balanced with rich, soft tannins. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon was picked at optimum ripeness, with half of the fruit coming from Devon Valley and the balance from Villiera. The Cabernet Franc was picked earlier and also comes from Devon Valley.

n keeping with the trend towards fruit driven wines this Sauvignon Blanc displays intense varietal character including gooseberry and fig flavours. The introduction of wine from the cooler Elgin area has ensured greater freshness and vibrancy.

This beautifully soft Pinot Noir from the northern region of Burgundy was hand harvested and grown with sustainable farming practices. It has a silky texture with bright fruit and a gentle earthiness underneath. Aging is done in both stainless steel and neutral oak so the wine retains its fresh fruitiness and the terroir of Burgundy.

Grown in the cool Loire Valley on clay and silica soils, this Chardonnay offers beautiful restrained fruit, and enough brig ht acidity to be an excellent glass pour with fine cuisine.

Blueberries, black raspberries, and blackberries abound with further hints of black olive. A potpourri of violets emerge upon tasting, while graphite and char tones lend this wine a mineral character and further heighten the complexity.

From the makers of the original Americano comes the Rosa, that has the lush mouthfeel and weight of a sweet vermouth, the fruit of a sangria, and the spice of a mulled wine, finishing with a tingle of bitterness on the tongue. It's absolutely delicious. Time to make a rose-colored gin martini, serve on the rocks with a lemon or lime twist or top with Chamapagne in a flute!
