It is crisp on the attack, showing very good density of fruit on the palate, yet it’s delicate and very well balanced and has a long finish. A truly outstanding Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, the aromas are dominated by bright red fruit tones of Bing cherry and red raspberry, while black fruits dominate on the palette. The bright aromas expand and give way to black plum and toasted baking spices. The wine has bright acidity and firm but fine tannins that should allow for short term cellaring.

Meaning "little dance" or "burst of joy" in the local dialect, Pepestrino is a blend Tuscan white grapes previously used for blending in Chianti. The result is a fresh medium bodied white with notes of dried fruit, apple pie and pear. A perfect summer sipper or accompaniment to food.

Pale sunshine yellow color with fresh floral, citrus and melon aromas with hints of almonds. A dry, medium bodied white wine with crisp acidity, well-balanced, elegant wine with good complexity and a lingering finish.

A very distinctive and enjoyable Pinot Noir, this is a very juicy, wine with hints of raspberry, cherry, strawberry and oak and a refreshing note of pepper.

"We wanted to make a chardonnay that was satisfying, yet fresh, but with a sufficiently interesting flavor to capture the imagination. From the outset it was crucial that it would be a great accompaniment to food. This is a fresh pine-apply wine, with a subtle hint of oak and a touch of mango and ginger."

My favorite wine of all the 2012s was the 2012 Syrah Griffin’s Lair Vineyard. Opaque purple-colored with notes of beef blood, bouquet garni, volcanic, scorched earth and wet pebbles, the wine is complex, has great intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a long, lingering finish. This is terrific Syrah.

Whole Cluster ferment. As refreshing as liquid fruit salad in a glass, this wine is deep ruby in color and opens with vibrant aromas of bing cherry, blackberry and cocoa with a hint of earthiness. Flavors mirror aromas with a fruit-forward and sweet entry, juicy mid-palate that flows into a soft, well-rounded finish accented by bright acidity.

Unlike many Sancerre Roses, Gerard harvests his Pinot specifically to make rose by direct press, then into tank. It is not a selection of young vines as he has no young Pinot vines. What makes the rosé one year could make red another, and vice versa, depending on what the vintage gives. 200 cases ! Drink this before it is gone!

Salmon orange in color, the nose is compelling, aromatic and spicy, with a round yet vibrant palate and surprisingly mineral finish. It was aged on the lees and under a fine veil of flor for one year in 100 year old foudres. Aromas of orange peel with spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is fresh and vibrant with fruit tones and saline notes.

Very classic french white with develop notes of fruit. Surprising liveliness and interesting mineral side. As well as an aperitif, it will take a meal from appetizer to main course: shellfish, seafood entrees, grilled fish, garlic-based dishes.
