This pale gold blanquette releases fine, regular bubbles, together with an intense perfume of Williams pears and honeysuckle. Lively and full-bodied, as it reaches the mouth, it releases a taste of toasted bread with a hint of honey. All together it is remarkably well balanced, smooth and fresh.

Light orange-pink. The incisive, mineral-laced nose evokes fresh strawberries, tangerines and flowers. Vibrant red fruit and orange pith flavors unfold slowly on lithe and nervy palate. In a distinctly elegant, understated style, with no excess fat and a firm closing bite. I find this to be as graceful and precise as numerous pink Champagnes that sell for much more.

From their estate in Alexander Valley, the 2013 Ridge "Geyserville" was made from the old-vine Zinfandel fruit that's been the backbone of this classic wine since 1966. With the addition of a small amount of Carignane, Petite Sirah, and Mataro for structure, Geyserville holds an amazing track record for aging potential, and will cellar for several decades.

This Pinot Blanc has a full creamy texture with concentrated fruit aromas of cantaloupe, Meyer lemon, and Clementine, with added notes of mineral and flint. Flavors of pear and lush textures mingle on the lively, long finish giving this wine a classical Burgundian mouthfeel.

Organic “Estate” Vineyard in the Languedoc. 10 hours on the skins, then bled off and fermented in tank. Perfect Southern French salmon skin/peach skin color. Pinon recently renamed his Cuvée Traditon, "Trois Argiles" to highlight the soil composition in his vineyards. It is a very light vin tendre, with sweetness levels between a sec and demi-sec. It has a delicate attack that gives over to a pleasant citrus finish with resonance and length. Flavors reminiscent of apples and quince with a slightly spicy accent dominate.

Green-tinged yellow. Vibrant, spice-laced aromas of grapefruit, green apple and white flowers, with a chalky mineral nuance building in the glass. Tangy and incisive on the palate, offering taut citrus fruit and quince flavors and a suggestion of tarragon. Shows strong cut and lift on the finish, which hangs on with very good tenacity.

An ethereal bouquet of violets, cherries, leather, tobacco & spice fill the nose. On the palate it is dry, harmonious, and fruity with a velvety, elegant texture, and a long finish. This is a wine with enormous character often showing a rustic, somewhat “animal” aspect married to a vivacious wild berry symphony of aromas and flavors. This wine is aged entirely in tank without exposure to barrel aging. The severe weather conditions that are present restrict yields ( and produce a highly concentrated wine that has a proven track record for ageability.
