In the village of Thoré la Rochette, Dom. P. Colin is a leading producer of biodynamic wines. This Sparkling Rosé is elaborated entirely in the bottle. Grown and vinified entirely without the used of chemicals or machinery, it displays subtle hints of apricot on the nose, while the palate is dominated by notes of tropical fruit, field flowers and light acidity. Very rare!

One of the most wild Pinot Noir's we carry here. It's grown under Muscadet, right on the coast where the wind makes the vines cling to the schist saturated ground. The wine has very tart, intense acidity with berry fruit and just a touch of volatility. Truly unique and expressive.

Shows good zip, with a stony spine driving through the core of white peach, heather, bitter citrus and green almond notes. The long, racy finish leaves an echo of quinine.

A tour de force, brilliantly combining espresso and black olive notes with bright raspberry fruit, while dark earthy notes provide a solid base. The feel on the palate is ample, with tannins that are a bit dusty but not tough or chewy. The long, mouthwatering finish bodes well for the future.

Ripe grapefruit and melon, with grass aromas. Light and bright on the palate, flavors are crisp, citrus with mineral notes.

The Brut offers a crisp, and full-bodied sparkling wine, which has developed rich complexity and fine mousse. The allure of toasty finish from twenty-four months on tirage, is a complement to the sophisticated apple and citrus flavor. Winemaker's Note: Brilliant with ultra fine bubbles. A wonderful fine bouquet dominated by green apple and grapefruit flavors.

2011 was a vintage of abundance. Ideal springtime weather led to a hot summer, which gave us a beautiful, uniform and potentially prolific crop. Harvest went off without a hitch and we picked the grapes at a deliberate, but frankly leisurely pace, winch allowed focusing on retained acidity.

This Pedro Ximénez is aged for 15 years in the solera system. A great nose of exotic spices and almost red fruits combine with more classic caramel overtones. With great acidity the wine is light on its feet and almost refreshing.

The percentage of Bobal has increased and they look for a fresher profile, which means the wine has gained in drinkability. There are no more notes of chocolate that were very prominent in 2006, 2007 or 2009; they have taken the Tempranillo out of the blend, a grape that has a tendency to get very ripe in the zone; and the wine is better balanced and focused. The palate shows also some chalkiness (all the grapes now come from vineyards in Finca Terrerazo, where there is a high content in limestone), and a Mediterranean character, but without heat. A very tasty and drinkable Mediterranean red.”

Individual lots spent 13 months aging in 100% French Oak before Abigail hand-selected the final blend. Small amounts of Syrah and Petite Sirah — which also thrive in Paso — were added for structure and depth. The result is the signature TEXTBOOK richness yet restraint, allowing this Cabernet to be paired with an array of cuisines or simply enjoyed on its own.

A core of singed vanilla, plum and licorice notes is backed by a thread of cedar on the finish. Shiraz, Cinsault, Mourvèdre & Viognier. Drink now.

Dave Phinney, the founder of Orin Swift, calls all the picks and continues working and honing these wines in the cellar. Rich black cherry, toffee, and caramel spices lead to a full-bodied wine with red berry fruit and chocolatey, robust, chewy tannins. The long fruit-driven finish offers ample brown spices and toasty cedarwood.

Accessible and round, with notes of salted caramel, almond husk, date and dried persimmon all weaving through the detailed finish. A great introduction to the amontillado style for Sherry newbies, but still complex enough for aficionados.
