A blend of Rambouillet, Thistle and Lillie’s Vineyard made by Lynn Penner-Ash. There is a lovely black pepper note on the aromatics, in addition to sweet tobacco, white flowers, cardamom, fresh herbes-de-Provence and sassafras. On the palate we find nice weight up front, carrying into the mid-palate. There are notes of earth, followed by wafts of wood smoke.
