Produced by the legendary Springbank distillery, Longrow was first distilled in 1973 as an experiment to prove that Islay style whisky could be made on the mainland. Each year Longrow Red is released in small quantities using a different wine barrel. This peaty yet sweet whisky is matured for 7 years in bourbon casks before spending another 3 in refilled malbec barrels.
