Gentle notes of wood toast frame very floral-suffused aromas that include violet and lilac along with mostly dark pinot fruit and warm earth suggestions. There is a lovely texture to the succulent but intense medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle salinity on the firm, very serious and mildly rustic finish. This excellent effort is very clearly built-to-age or drink now.
