The Sorin family has operated the Domaine des Remparts in the tiny medieval commune of Saint Bris for 19 generations! This superb mid-bodied ruby-red Burgundy is born from the clay limestone soils of the hills, then matured in oak for 9 months. It shows lovely hints of forest fruits, cherries and red currant matched by subtle tannins, notes of leather, flint-rock and spice.
