The terraced, estate-owned vineyards of Murgo are found on the eastern volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, near the town of Santa Venerina, at 1,600 to 2,000 feet above sea level. A rosé de saignée, this wine is cold macerated for 24 hours before being bled off and fermented on selected yeasts, and then aged for 5 months in tank. Juicy and harmonious, with a clean, tangy finish.
