Claudio Ancarani works his grandfather's vineyards of rare indigenous varietals in Emilia-Romagna with respect for the soil and minimal intervention in the cellar. The Famoso varietal, long thought extinct until found in a local's personal garden, makes an elegant bright wine with yellow flower aromas and pear and white peach fleshiness on a dense mineral core.
