While Gruner Veltliner outside Austria is rare, these sub-Alpine slopes in Northern Italy have been part of Austria at various points in history. Minerally crushed rocks with hints of mint peek out behind tart green apple fruit. The long finish shows a plush and round white peach rarely seen in Gruner. Try with schnitzel in mushroom gravy or with a spicy spring salad!
