In the rural Vendôme region of the Loire, Patrice Colin’s organic farm boasts some of the oldest Pineau d’Aunis vines in France. This red showcases great acidity up front while the long finish has robust dark strawberry and blackberry fruit suffused with granite dust. This would pair fantastically with roast duck and potatoes or mushrooms sautéed with fresh herbs.
