Camilla Rossi Chauvenet, a gifted young female winemaker from northern Italy began working with these organic vines surrounded by 500 year old olive trees in 2008. This deep, dark wine with fine sweet wild cherry and notes of anise, violets and wild flowers, harmoniously blends with the mineral and marine flavors of Puglia itself, the sun-kissed heel of Italy's boot.
