Medium to deep garnet in color, the 2013 Mathilda Shiraz begins with a core of black raspberries and blackberries plus hints of tar and licorice. Medium-bodied, it gives a good amount of juicy red and black berry flavors with a slight earthiness and chew to the finish of moderate length.
