On the nose, blackberry, plum, cherry, pepper, earthy, leather, cedar, tobacco, chocolate, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, dry, medium body, medium acidity, chalky and medium (+) tannins, nicely balanced, firm structure, and medium (+) finish. Enjoyable with steak.
