The Mehofer family has farmed these mountain-side vineyards for over 300 years and in 1992 were one of the first wineries to convert to 100% organic. On its face a lovely light picnic wine, great with chicken and sauteed mushrooms, in the glass though the red berry fruit is studded with black pepper and the finish is long and elegant.
