Claudia Papayianni chose to return to her family's roots for her organic winery in Thessaly in Northern Greece. This region has much more Continental climes and less Mediterranean than much of Greece, with cold winters and hot dry summers. This red blend has aromas of plum and fig followed by flavors of ripe maraschino cherries. Well balanced tannins and lingering plum flavors.
