Named after the striking Podalirio species of butterflies (also known as the Swallowtail), this organic, old-world Merlot is aged in French oak for 18 months. This is a terroir-driven, gripping wine with tension and tannin and yet opulent smooth black fruit and balancing acidity. This will surely cellar well but why not decant and serve with your favorite grilled foods!
