100% Mencía from a single vineyard of thirty-year-old vines planted on granitic soils at 250 meters altitude on the north bank of the River Sil, in the paraje of Romeu (this is in the Amandi subzone of D.O. Ribeira Sacra, though the wine is made outside of the D.O.). Grapes were harvested by hand and destemmed, then fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tank.
