Merlot and old Cabernet Sauvignon vines, which profit from good sunlight exposure and set in clay-limestone soil, make up this top-of-the-range cuvée from Château Puynard. Vinified in stainless steel vats and then aged in French oak barrels (30% new barrels) for around 15 months, the batches are then blended and bottled after a light filtration, without fining.
