Alta Marfa is a relatively new Texas winery. They source fruit from Texas & New Mexico and are really shaking up the Texas wine scene. This wine is a co-ferment of Chenin Blanc & Chardonnay, left on the skins for SIX MONTHS. This well made wine can stay open for DAYS and just gets better. Depending on the day it tastes like ginger candy, nori, miso & banana. WHAT A WINE!!!
