This wine is SUPER HIP. The grape Touriga Nacional originated in Portugal but is now found in Texas and is doing well. It can normally be on the bigger/higher alcohol side, but the wine makers of "Alta Marfa" have found a way to bring out the subtle qualities in the wine by picking it early, and letting it age in neutral oak. This wine is PERFECT with food!
